Bailes wins Mayor’s election in Adrian, Miller and Richardson fill vacant Council seats

A special election was held Tuesday, March 18 to fill the vacant seats of the Mayor and two City Council seats. Sandra Bailes won the mayoral race with 109 votes, defeating Wynola Smith, who received 61 votes. In the City Council Post 2 race, Bruce A. Miller won with 101 votes over Sandra L. Warter’s 65. In the Post 4 City Council race, William Richardson won with 99 votes, beating Suzanne Poole Hutchinson, who received 69.
