All the Fixin’s was recently awarded Twin City’s first ever “Thriving Twin City” facade grant. All the Fixin’s has two cafe locations in Twin City and Swainsboro and serves coffee, breakfast, lunch, ice cream, frozen casseroles and also has a gift shop where they feature local food and gift products. They also grow pecans and manufacture flavored pecans, turtles and pralines to be sold locally and shipped nationwide. The Development Authority of Twin City made applications available to businesses inside the city limits. Applicants had to submit their plans of how they would use the funds and what they would do to make the outside of their business more appealing and welcoming. The grant was a matching grant of up to $5,000 total project cost, so All the Fixin’s committed to spending a minimum of $2,500 on beautifying the outside of their business and the Development Authority would match the $2,500 to total $5,000 invested. Business owner, Janna Tucker, shared, “I love Twin City… the people here, the location and the overall goodness that is here in our hometown. To open up a gift shop, cafe and choose to build our manufacturing space here was on one hand a no-brainer, but on the other hand, it takes a lot of investment in hopes that the community will support it. We are thankful that the DATC acknowledged our efforts and awarded us with this grant! We love how our project turned out and hope it will draw attention to make passersby continue to stop in and check us and Twin City out! We hope it also
makes our citizens proud knowing Twin City has our very own drive through coffee spot and fun outside space to enjoy breakfast, lunch or ice cream.”
All the Fixin’s purchased the old Gramont Theatre building in March of 2023. They use the space for their pecan candy manufacturing and warehouse. The front of the shop serves as a cafe and gift shop – they have a drive through, indoor cafe seating and an outdoor patio area. They also share the space with Southern Styles, hair salon managed by Pam Johnson. Their grant project involved supporting other local businesses includes new logo signs from Idea7 based in Stillmore, new ceiling fans and sconces installed by David Graham and team, handyman work/drive-thru construction by Brannon Bush, new glass retail door installed by Ricks Glass, plants by Yardmaster, door signs by L&W Signs, rock and misc supplies by Twin City Hardware and Swainsboro Supply.
Twin City Mayor, Matt Donaldson, explained, “The Development Authority of Twin City was pleased to award one of our inaugural Thriving Twin City grants to All the Fixin’s. The development authority is supporting local businesses with this new type of facade grant. Janna has been transformative in the Downtown Graymont area, and we are glad she is investing in Twin City.” Photos of project are available at https://photos.app.goo.gl/8MCoB5SDzPxUUrYt9.
