Durden Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Katherine Delaine Garnto Maglioli, age 82, of Swainsboro, who passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Pruitt Health in Swainsboro. Funeral services were held Friday, April 18, at 2 p.m. at Gumlog Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Robbie Dollar officiating. Interment followed at Gumlog Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dustin Davis, William Burke, Travis Akridge, Brice Hobbs, Brian McSween, John Dorminey, John Brantley and Kevin Brantley.

Delaine was born September 22, 1942, in Dublin, to the late Riley Morris Garnto and Dorothy Lee Brantley Garnto. She attended Georgia Southern University and Massey Business College in Atlanta. Delaine loved Christmas and crocheting. She was a court reporter for 36 years. Delaine was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of Gumlog Primitive Baptist Church. Ms. Magliolo is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Mickey Garnto.

Ms. Magliolo is survived by her nephew, Ryan Garnto (Merrit) of Leesburg; great-nephews, Andrew Garnto, Grady Garnto and Chapman Garnto; several cousins and many friends.

Durden Hudson Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
