February 22
Deputy took a walk-in report where complainant stated she heard dogs barking in her backyard and found a hole was dug under her chicken pen and the tarp had been ripped apart.
Deputies were dispatched to Wadley-Coleman Lake Rd. in reference to a vehicle hitting the guardrail.
February 23
Deputies responded to Scarboro Church Rd. in reference to a domestic dispute. Complainant stated she and offender got into an altercation over relationship and financial problems and offender choke slammed her.
Deputies responded to Ward St. in reference to shots fired. Caller/offender advised he fired off some shots at a female subject who was picking on him. During the investigation, it was revealed that offender is known for paranoid schizophrenic who was on felony probation and has been off his meds and believed different people were after him. Offender was medically cleared from EMS transported to EmCo Jail.
February 24
Deputy assisted with an 18-wheeler that lost two tires off his log trailer.
Victim stated she got locked up and her vehicle was towed and when she went to get it, the gear shifter was broken.
Investigator met with complainant where she stated her window unit had been moved and observed a vehicle on her security camera back into her driveway. C/p stated she recognized the vehicle and contacted the owner and advised she did take someone to c/p’s residence because he needed to check the mail. C/p advised the girl that she has a TPO on the person she took to her residence and not to take him back. The female informed c/p that she saw the male subject walk towards the carport and he stated he was checking on the dog, but he didn’t have anything with him when he got back in the vehicle.
Deputy took a walk-in report where complainant stated she had a prowler and believes he was trying to steal her dog. C/p also advised that her son stated he saw someone walking near the woods behind their home a few days prior.
February 25
Victim stated his sister/offender has been causing problems with him for the past year. C/p advised their mother deeded land to his sister and offender blocked off a driveway on c/p’s land, making him have to use another driveway.
Complainant stated he lost the tag to his Honda Hawk trail bike.
Deputies were dispatched to Garfield City Hall in reference to shots fired. Complainant stated he was working at a residence, and they got into a disagreement and offender went inside and got a pistol and started to shoot toward c/p, and he took off running. Offender stated c/p threatened him with some garden shears over money, so he went inside and got his pistol and shot in the air as a warning shot.
Complainant reported offender went to Mixon Rd. and had an altercation with c/p’s brother and c/p was trying to separate them when offender choked and struck c/p.
February 26
Deputy arrived at EMC ER in reference to a male subject who had been dropped off with multiple stab wounds. Male victim had been stabbed by his wife during a domestic dispute on Bonsue Dr.
Deputies were dispatched to King Rd. in reference to a male bleeding from his head. Deputies attempted to speak with three individuals but none of them wanted to speak with them. One male was visibly intoxicated and was passive aggressive. Once offender was outside, complainants began to speak with deputies. Complainant advised a verbal argument ensued between her and her husband/offender and offender broke a chine cabinet glass with his head. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail and yelled numerous times and asked several times why he was being arrested, then hit the side of deputy’s patrol unit when he exited. Offender then fell going up the stairs and four times while attempting to sit in a chair.
February 27
Complainant reported that offender/grandmother of her children has been harassing her since May 2024. C/p advised she spoke with Chief Deputy on three different occasions in reference to the harassment and offender contacted c/p by calling from a restricted number.
February 28
Deputy spoke with complainant in reference to a civil matter regarding storage units.
Complainant reported that her tag was missing. C/p advised her vehicle had been at a shop being painted and wasn’t sure when it was lost.
Deputy spoke with complainant who stated she was getting terroristic threats. C/p advised she and her family have been receiving threatening messages from offender who is c/p’s sister’s ex-boyfriend, stating he is going to kill all of them and that he knows where they live and if the police shows up, he’s going to kill them too.
Deputy took a report form complainant in reference to a stolen tag.
March 1
Deputies were dispatched to Asa Lindsey Rd. in reference to unknown subjects being on the owner’s property. Complainant stated a pick-up truck was on her property mud bogging and someone giving a false name when she questioned who they were.
March 2
Deputies were dispatched to Glenwood Rd. in reference to a prowler. Complainant stated she heard someone around her back door.
Deputy responded to Norristown-Coven Rd. in reference to a nuisance animal call. C/p stated a dog went in his yard and attacked one of his dogs, causing injuries.
