The ECI Middle School baseball team took on Bulloch Academy from Statesboro last week, defeating the Gators 12-5. Power ruled the day for the young Bulldogs hitting three homeruns, and three doubles. Providing the punch for ECI were Jack Lee, 2 for 3 with two homeruns and 3 RBI. The RBI leader was Maddox Sherrod also going 2-3, with a homerun and 5 RBI. Bently Collins, 2 for 3, with two doubles and William Kennedy, 2-3 with a double were the other multiple hit Bulldogs. Hane Henry was dominant on the mound giving up one hit, with 4 strikeouts.
The Bulldogs will be in Statesboro Thursday to take on the Knights from William James Middle School.
