The ECI Bulldog Middle School baseball season began last Thursday with a scrimmage game against Portal. The Bulldogs trotted out 6 different pitchers to defeat the Panthers 11-4. Hane Henry picked up the win in his 2 innings of work. Henry ended his time on the mound allowing no hits while striking out 4 Panther batters. Leading hitters during the game for the Bulldogs were William Kennedy 2-2 with 3 RBI, Jake Marsh 2-3 with 2 RBI and Maddox Sherrod 2-4 and 1 RBI.
The Dawgs traveled to Toombs Co. on Monday for another pre-season scrimmage game.
