The October 2024 term of the Emanuel County Grand Jury reconvened on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, to consider cases presented by the District Attorney’s Office.
The Grandy Jury jail inspection committee members that were selected on October 30, 2024, are to select a date to tour and inspect the Emanuel County Jail as required by law, and the committee will submit a report with tis findings to the Grandy Jury on December 13, 2024.
The District Attorney’s Office presented 31 bills of indictment to the Grand Jury, and the Grand Jury returned 29 true bills and 2 no bills.
