October 17

Complainant stated she received a text that appeared to have come from her banks, so she clicked on the link and logged into her account. Unknown suspect took $240 from one account and $300 from another account. Accounts are at Citizens Bank and Truist Bank.

October 21

Deputy observed a possible broken-down vehicle sitting at the stop sign and upon making contact, he discovered the vehicle was unattended. A Citizen parked at a nearby business advised an older male got out and left in another vehicle. Deputy then called the listed number attached to the vehicle with no contact. Deputy went to the registered owner’s address and made contact with a subject that stated his father is the driver and it randomly runs out of gas. Deputy then waited almost 20 minutes for anyone to arrive to get the vehicle out the roadway as it was impeding traffic and causing traffic to back up. Deputy then requested a tow and vehicle was removed.

Victim states while he was in NC, his neighbors dogs killed his chickens. Victim stated he has cameras and would check them.

October 22

Victim states she rents from offender, and he has been harassing her about moving out and threatened to burn her out. The trailer was damaged during the hurricane and offender hasn’t’ fixed it.

October 24

Complainant stated she was traveling on Kite Hwy and the vehicle in front of her had an unsecured load and debris fell from the vehicle and she struck it, causing moderate damage to her vehicle. Vehicle in front of her continued driving.

Complainant went to ECSO to report she ordered her tag through the mail, and she never received it.

Deputy was dispatched to US 1 in reference to a damaged tire on a vehicle. Complainant stated she ran over an unknown item in the road causing her tire to go flat.

October 25

Investigators executed an arrest warrant for Oak Park PD. Offender was taken into custody and transported to EmCo Jail.
