Brier Creek Militia attends Siege of Savannah

On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, the Brier Creek Militia, consisting of President Steve Burke, Wiregrass Chapter, Vice President Lee Herron, Brier Creek Chapter and Sgt-at-Arms Don Bazemore, Brier Creek Chapter, traveled to Savannah, Georgia to participate in the Siege of Savannah Anniversary event which happened on September 16 through October 18, 1779. Today’s attendees were around 200, not including 12 Georgia Society SAR Militia Members.
