Farm Bureau to hold annual meeting

Emanuel County Farm Bureau will hold their annual meeting Monday, August 26, at the Farm Bureau building on Lambs Bridge Road. Refreshments will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will start at 7 p.m. Mr. Tom McCall, Georgia Farm Bureau President, will be the guest speaker. All Farm Bureau members are invited to attend.

“Among items on the agenda will be year-end reports, highlights of committee activities the past year, policies to be adopted affecting agriculture and recognition of art, essay and scholarship winners, as well as election of officers and directors,” according to County President Robert Fountain, Jr.

Emanuel County Farm Bureau has been serving its members since 1941.
