Skunk Brigade attends Meadow Gardens event

The Skunk Brigade traveled to Augusta Thursday, July 4, to attend the Event at Patriot George Waltons home, Meadow Gardens, and signer of the Declaration of Independence. All Compatriots had an awesome day celebrating our freedoms at Meadow Gardens. Thank you, Ransom Bennett Schwerzler, for the invitation to participate and to Helen Powell for the recommendation. The Skunk Brigade not only took their flintlock Pennsylvania/Kentucky 50 Cal. Rifles, Brown Bess 75 Cal. Muskets and Charleville 69 Cal. Muskets, but three of their six-pounder cannons. They fired each several times to honor those brave patriots that fought during the Revolutionary War for our freedoms that we have today. HUZZAH!!!
