Summer Scavenger Hunt for Books!

Week three was another fun week of following clues to the great free books to read during the summer months. Family Connection would like to thank this week’s “secret business”, the Emanuel County Recreation Department.

The number of families participating continues to grow every week. We added eight new families, bringing our total to 93!!! “Families may join at any time during the eight-week hunt,” states Tammy Allen, Family Connection Coordinator. Allen gives a special invitation to those who started on week one but missed a week. “Please participate any week that you can. We realize families take vacations etc. and we want the students to get new books to stay excited about reading throughout the summer”.

*Clues are posted on Emanuel County Family Connection or Franklin Memorial Library Facebook Pages Monday-Wednesday and books are given out on Thursdays.
