BOE holds monthly meeting

The Emanuel County Board of Education met on Tuesday, May 14, at 5:30 p.m. at the Central Office with the following members in attendance: Brandon Jones, Cherie Hooks, Del Brown, Tanya Lane, Sandra Swinney and John Allen Bailey. Johnny Parker was not in attendance. Chairman Brown welcomed everyone calling the meeting to order. Jones delivered the invocation followed by Lane leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Jones made a motion to approve the agenda. Bailey seconded the motion. Brown, Hooks, Jones, Lane, Swinney and Bailey voted “yes”. CARRIED.
