R. Eric Wheeler has joined The Citizens Bank of Swainsboro as Vice-President and lending officer. “Eric possesses all the qualities that we look for when adding senior management. He is bright, personable, an active member in his Church and the community, has strong family ties to Emanuel County, and exemplifies a life of character and integrity. We are fortunate to have an executive of Eric’s caliber join our bank,” said President Milton Gray.
Mr. Wheeler is a 2004 graduate of Swainsboro High School, obtained an Associates of Business Degree from East Georgia State College in 2006, and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agribusiness from The University of Georgia in 2008. He is an active member of First Methodist Church of Swainsboro and has served on the Board of Trustees. He is a member of Swainsboro Country Club and is Past-President of the Men’s Golf Association.
Previously, Mr. Wheeler was co-owner and agent of McRae-Wheeler Insurance, plant supervisor for Handi-House Manufacturing, and most recently a Land Agent for Georgia Transmission Corporation. He is married to Whitney Livingston Wheeler, and they have two children Brandt age 10 and Brinley age 6.
