The Eagles got a big win on Senior Day with a 12-2 victory of the Habersham Patriots. Senior Jay Carter started on the mound for the Eagles and pitched three strong innings striking out two Patriot batters. Freshman Layton Terwilliger took the ball and finished the game by pitching three scoreless innings and striking out one. Clayton Hood starting the Eagles scoring with a long homerun in the first inning. In the second inning, the Eagles tacked on two more runs when Sailor Powell and Tucker Free scored on a single by Brody Fleming. The Eagles took control after that with Hood and Powell scoring two more runs each and Richard Braddy hitting his first career homerun as an Eagle. The day was big for the Eagle’s seniors as Billy Martin and Randon Williams each scored a run and Jay Carter picked up the win.
