The Miss Emanuel County/Southeast Board proudly presents our newly crowned Miss Emanuel County Teen Katie Griswold. Katie is the 16-year-old daughter of Lanier and Joy Griswold of Swainsboro. Through her advocacy work, Katie hopes to demonstrate the abilities of autistic individuals like herself and celebrate the achievements of those with autism and developmental disabilities through various activities throughout the months of March and April. Developmental Disability Awareness Month is in March and Autism Awareness Month is in April.
Katie will compete for the title of Miss Georgia Teen in Columbus in June.
